Weekend Caregivers needed for several cases in Cumming and Roswell. Requires a commitment to every weekend coverage. Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Weekend Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support during weekends. This vital role ensures that clients receive attentive, respectful, and professional care in a safe and nurturing environment. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every weekend. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients’ health status, including vital signs and overall well-being, while maintaining detailed care records Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Support safe patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids; perform heavy lifting when necessary Maintain a clean, organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to client care and home safety Document patient observations, changes in condition, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members Qualifications Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate support and build trusting relationships Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely and effectively Familiarity with medication administration protocols and care planning processes Join our team as a Weekend Caregiver to bring energy, compassion, and professionalism into the lives of those you serve.
