Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and ability to interpret technical schematics will be essential to ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, from pipe fabrication to structural assembly, in a fast-paced environment that values safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Duties $50 welding and fab i n shop $60 in field Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other welding processes to join metals according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and measuring devices such as schematics and rulers to prepare materials for welding. Cut, shape, bend, and assemble pipes or structural components using pipe threading, tube bending, and rigging techniques. Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels, pipelines, and manufacturing processes. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and visual checks to ensure weld integrity and adherence to safety standards. Assist with maintenance tasks on equipment or infrastructure related to HVAC systems or plumbing as needed. Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience in welding within manufacturing or construction environments, including site work or fabrication shops. Strong knowledge of MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools for metalwork. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, pipe threading, tube bending, and rigging operations. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing installations, or pipeline assembly is highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites or in industrial settings with adherence to safety regulations is preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessels or pipeline construction is a plus.
