Job Overview - Without rig welders We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder (Without Rig) to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks on various metal components, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from ductwork and sheet metal fabrication to structural assemblies. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and procedures Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to ensure precise fabrication and assembly Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and prepare materials for welding Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and schematics to verify dimensions and weld integrity Assist with rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and mechanical assembly tasks as needed on construction sites or manufacturing facilities Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines related to construction sites, crane operations, forklift handling, and power tools Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and site protocols Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings for fabrication projects Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, piping systems, or structural steel in manufacturing or construction environments Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, forklifts (certification preferred), and other fabrication equipment Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Mechanical knowledge of rigging procedures, pipe threading, machining processes, soldering techniques, and assembly operations Join us if you’re passionate about precision welding in a collaborative environment where your skills directly impact our projects’ success.
