Hello , Client: Confidential Title: Production Supervisor Location: McCook, IL 60525 Expected Duration: Full time - FTE Salary: $71,000 to $80,000 Per Year Summary: Seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong focus on MIG, TIG, and robotic welding processes. Responsible for production performance, quality, safety, scheduling, and team leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily production and welding operations Manage MIG, TIG, and robotic welding processes Ensure production schedules, quality, and delivery targets are met Coordinate with Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams Monitor KPIs including productivity, efficiency, scrap, and rework Support weld troubleshooting, corrective actions, and process improvements Enforce OSHA safety standards and safe welding practices Lead, train, and develop production staff Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 5+ years of manufacturing experience with welding operations 2+ years of production supervisory experience Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and robotic welding Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Preferred: Technical/trade school education Knowledge of WPS/PQR documentation Experience in high-mix or high-volume manufacturing Thank you!
