What you’ll do General Managers are key to delighting every customer and ensuring we deliver high quality food in a fast, friendly and clean environment. Working directly with the District Manager, General Managers are the restaurants first in command. This includes managing the daily operations, team building, coaching, and developing. You’re in charge of all people and operations for Wendy's. Fresh food is all we do, so we count on you and your team members to do it right for our customers every day and night. You and your team treat customers like family. Great food, great service, great everything is what keeps them coming back. You show Shift Managers and Crew Members how to do it right, and make sure every shift is better than the last. You give and take direction like a pro. This one’s a no brainer: you’re in charge of increasing store sales and profit goals. Interview, hire, train and orientate a team. Maintain positiveness and be a motivated individual. Oversee and enforce proper standards and procedures. Maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Inventory counting and recording. Cash Management. Create schedules for their stores. Opening, closing, and additional daily administrative duties. Ensure proper food handing and preparation. Whether you started out as a Crew Member or you’re coming from another foodservice organization, you believe in our team and are glad to be a part of our company. What you bring to the table: Wendy's experience preferred :) Minimum of 1+ years of experience leading people, even better if you did it in a foodservice environment. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Desire to learn and willingness to accept feedback from upper management. Must have a great personality, a desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team, and be upbeat and engaging. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of food safety procedure and standards. High school diploma or GED. (Some college experience or military background? Tell us that, too!). Must have flexible work availability. You’re willing and able to: Stand for long periods, bend and kneel and be able to life 25 to 50 pounds. Wear a headset and understand restaurant equipment from a grill to registers and computers. Work during inclement weather and have reliable transportation.
