Job Details Job Title West Virginia Soccer - Academy Head Coach Job Type The ideal candidate should possess a passion for developing goalkeepers of all ages and skill levels Preferably: USSF D License at minimum Previous experience as a national level coach, preferably at the youth level Profound knowledge of coaching techniques, strategies, and tactics Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for player development and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team A strong commitment to creating a positive and inclusive training environment Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications Responsibilities Head Coach for West Virginia Soccer Team Plan and execute training sessions for assigned teams in line with the MLDA curriculum and methodology Coach assigned teams at training camps and at all games and events Assist with all other Academy teams at games and training Maintain an organized environment for the team both on and off the field with minor team administration Create video content for film sessions and opposition scouting reports Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to provide individual support to players with a player-first philosophy Oversee and execute the implementation of an individual Development Plan (IDP) for each WVS player to provide feedback and consistent goal setting Collaborate with the staff to advance the goals of the West Virginia Soccer Boys Academy Proactively form and strengthen relationships with Colleges across the State/Country to create pathways for our players to play beyond High School Age . Comply with all West Virginia Soccer Academy policies and regulations. Follow all of the established company rules and curriculum pertaining to programs. Commitment to coach three-four times a week during in season.
