Job Description Docking Station is launching a 3-month pilot program in the Atlanta area and is seeking a Residential Workspace Host to provide a quiet, professional home office environment for remote workers. This role involves opening your home office or dedicated workspace to a small number of pre-screened professionals during daytime hours. The goal is to create a calm, distraction-free environment for individuals who need a productive space outside of their homes. This is a low-traffic, controlled hosting opportunity, typically involving no more than 1–2 guests at a time. The host will play a key role in ensuring a comfortable, professional, and welcoming experience. Workspace Requirements Applicants must have access to a residential workspace that meets the following: Clean, quiet, and well-maintained home office or spare room Comfortable seating (desk or table and chairs) Reliable high-speed WiFi Adequate lighting (natural or artificial) Minimal noise and distractions during hosting hours Safe and welcoming environment Ability to host up to 1–2 individuals at a time Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain a clean, organized workspace for each session Greet guests upon arrival and provide basic orientation to the space Ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment during scheduled hours Communicate availability and scheduling with Docking Station Maintain professionalism and respect for guest privacy Provide feedback to improve the pilot experience Customer Service Expectations While this is not a high-touch hospitality role, hosts should: Be welcoming and professional Respect guests’ need for quiet and focus Communicate clearly and respectfully Create a comfortable and productive environment Qualifications Must be located in or near Stone Mountain, Decatur, or Lithonia Access to a suitable residential workspace Reliable internet connection Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism Ability to maintain a consistent weekday daytime schedule Comfortable hosting pre-screened guests in your space Prior customer service or hospitality experience is a plus Compensation 25% commission on all bookings hosted in your space Monthly stipend (based on availability and participation during the pilot) Opportunity to increase earnings based on demand and usage This is a pilot program, and compensation structure may evolve as the model grows.
