Job Details General Anesthesiologist – Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL. Full‑time position at HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation, part of Envision Physician Services. Opportunity Highlights Established Anesthesia Care Team: 15 physicians, anesthesiology residents, and 12 APPs. Coverage across main hospital and surgery center. ACGME‑accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program with university affiliations (24 residents – 6 per year). Case mix: Neurosurgery & neuro‑interventional, Thoracic & vascular surgery, Orthopedics (spine), General surgery, trauma, urology, Plastics, ENT, Electrophysiology and endoscopy. Extensive regional anesthesia opportunities with a range of blocks for orthopedic, vascular, and general surgery cases. Annual case volume: approx. 7,200. No pediatric, OB, or trauma call. Coverage & Schedule Beeper call from home: 4‑5 first calls a month and 1‑5 weekend calls. Post‑call day off. Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive base compensation. Facility Information HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation is a 296‑bed facility that provides services in General, Orthopedic, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Gyn, ENT, Urology, Spine, and Intracranial Neurosurgery, and includes anesthesia delivery outside the operating room such as the cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology lab, MRI, and interventional suite.
