Job Description
Strategic Wholesale Director wanted for a luxury goods accessories company in NYC. In the role, you will be responsible for driving growth and performance across major accounts, domestic and international, in partnership with executive leadership. You will lead cross-functional wholesale sales strategy, driving revenue growth and expand market presence all while owning key account relationships, revenue targets, and budget management. The Wholesale Director serves as a senior leader in resolving complex account issues, mentoring talent, and delivering high-impact, ROI-driven initiatives across the wholesale business. You will cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with top-tier luxury wholesale partners, delivering exceptional service and long-term value; collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Product, and Marketing to align business objectives and elevate brand presentation across wholesale channels • Drive sales to achieve revenue targets • Proactively identify and execute opportunities to grow account performance through strategic initiatives and partnerships • Provide consistent, high-quality service and communication to all accounts • Represent the brand in market appointments and travel to support product launches, partner initiatives, and in-store execution and more! We are seeking self-motivated and driven wholesale/sales professional with solid networking skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ideal Skills and Qualities Bachelor’s degree 10+ years’ experience in Wholesale Sales, Sales Management or a combined 5 years of Luxury Wholesale Sales/ Retail Sales experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, JOOR, NETSUITE and company operating systems Ability to operate tactically and strategically in a fast-growth dynamic startup environment Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexibility and ability to travel to attend markets or meetings with customers to support the business Ability to travel, domestic and international Bilingual (Spanish, Italian, French, Mandarin or any)
