Position Summary Prepares and handles food as outlined on station lists and company recipes in a timely manner Duties and Responsibilities This list is representative of all duties but is not necessarily all inclusive. Prepare food according to designated work stations and prep list Assumes 100% responsibility for Quality of products used and food served. Prepare all menu items in accordance with recipe guidelines and par levels and following portion and quality standards, kitchen rules and policies and procedures. Prepares all ingredients needed for designated station daily, following chef's prep and par lists Maintains a clean kitchen, within Company and State standards at all times; including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment. Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes according to directions. Labels and dates all food products in storage and refrigeration areas as needed. Assists in food prep assignments in off-peak periods as needed Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
