Job Title: Wildlife Control Technician Location: Greater Charleston area. You will be provided a work vehicle to drive to customer's houses. Employment Type: Full-Time About the Position: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Animal Control Technician to join our growing team. This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a variety of environments—including heights, tight spaces, and around animals. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, able to adapt quickly, and have strong customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Safely handle and remove wildlife and deceased animals from residential and commercial properties Work in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas Climb and work on ladders up to 32 feet (40ft with the assistance of someone else). Set and monitor humane traps and safely remove animals such as raccoons, squirrels, snakes, birds, and more Identify and seal animal entry points (exclusion work) Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain services and solutions Maintain accurate records of services provided Ensure compliance with local and state wildlife laws and safety regulations Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, in crawlspaces, and attics Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and challenging environments Construction or home repair experience is a huge plus Prior experience with wildlife or pest control is preferred, but not required— we’re willing to train the right candidate Work Environment: This job involves outdoor work , often in hot, cold, or wet weather conditions Regular exposure to dirt, debris, animals, and insects Requires kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting, and reaching in tight or elevated areas Why Work With Us? Technicians regularly see between $2-$4,000 per biweekly paycheck based on the amount of work completed. Position includes a draw of $1700 per paycheck. If your commission falls below this number you will receive draw, and the difference will come out of your next paycheck.
