Job Overview Jake's Home & Handyman Services is hiring motivated, reliable individuals to join our team installing windows and doors on residential projects across the Grand Strand and surrounding areas.This is a hands-on, fast-paced position with a clear path to grow into a Lead Installer and eventually run your own crew.You will be learning the full installation process, job flow, and customer interaction from start to finish.This is not just a job--we are building a team of individuals who want to develop real skills and grow with the company.Work Area Myrtle Beach, SC Conway / North Myrtle Beach Travel into North Carolina South as far as Georgetown, SC Must be able to meet daily for transport to job sites.Schedule 5 days per week (Monday-Friday typical) Optional weekend work available for additional opportunity Full-time availability preferred Responsibilities Pick up and transport materials from supply locations Assist with installation of windows, exterior/interior doors, and trim Measure window and door openings accurately Read and follow installation instructions and job specifications Remove existing units and prepare openings for installation Perform shimming, leveling, fastening, sealing, and weatherproofing Ensure tight, gap-free installs using trim and finishing techniques Maintain quality control and ensure customer satisfaction on every job Act as on-site point of contact when needed for customers or third parties Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Must be reliable and ready to work at scheduled start time daily Clean criminal background No drugs or alcohol on or before job sites Ability to perform physical labor and heavy lifting Strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly Must have reliable transportation to meeting location Preferred (Not Required) Construction, carpentry, or handyman experience Experience with doors, windows, or trim work Familiarity with hand and power tools Tools Basic tools are a plus (drill, tape measure, level, etc.) Not required to start, but willingness to acquire tools over time is expected Compensation & Growth Starting at $150/day (1099) Performance-based bonus structure (discussed upon hiring) Pay increases based on reliability, skill, and production Training provided to develop into a Lead Installer Opportunity to advance into running your own crew Future access to company vehicle or vehicle reimbursement when operating independently Work Environment & Expectations Daily travel to job sites, riding in company vehicle Professional conduct with customers and respect for all properties is required This is a performance-based role--quality, speed, and reliability are expected Production expectations will increase as training progresses Position Type Independent Contractor (1099) How to Apply Apply here on Indeed and Call and ask for Jacob at (937)631-4557 Text, Reply with:Name Age Location Work experience Availability Transportation details Any tools or relevant skills Jake's Home & Handyman Services LLC Fixing The World, One Project At A Time.
