Job Description
We're looking for a Window & Door Installer for Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas.This role involves completing residential and commercial window and door installations while following installation guidelines and quality standards, working under the direction of the installation crew leader to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.Responsibilities:Install windows and doors according to installation guidelines and quality standards Perform all work at the direction of the Installation Crew Leader Identify the method of installation, work procedures, materials, and tools required for each job Test the operation of each unit and demonstrate operation to customers Ensure job site is clean and tidy during and after installation Communicate effectively with customers, installers, and builders Explain, demonstrate, and confirm product and installation attributes with homeowners, installers, and builders Work with the crew leader, management team, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment Perform recovery and service work as required to meet business needs Record detailed information and relay to internal and external personnel Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Requirements:High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of window experience required Knowledge of general construction applications, terminology, and principles Ability to carry out instructions in written or oral form Ability to operate hand and power tools safely Ability to climb and work from ladders and scaffolding at significant elevation Ability to lift and carry objects >100 lbs using safe techniques Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable standing for full shifts and working in a fast-paced environment Ability to use computers, tablets, and smartphones Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Office software Physical Requirements:Frequently lift and carry objects >100 lbs Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding Visually examine or inspect materials Present information orally to customers or coworkers #WSG Job Type:Full-time Pay:$24.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
