A Shift Leader has the overall responsibility of supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day operations of the restaurant, and for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager's absence Wingstop's mission is to serve the world flavor. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting and supporting the General Manager in meeting store goals, including covering for the General Manager's days off Assists in driving operational excellence by driving sales and controlling labor and food costs during shifts Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team Assure daily bank cash deposits and verify daily credit card batch settlement. Maintain permanent food safety and restaurant cleanliness in accordance with company policy and Wingstop SOP Assure that all food is handled, prepared, and served in accordance with Wingstop's SOP. Engage in professional conversation with customers to assure that their satisfaction is met. Address all HR matters that occur during your shift in accordance with the company's polices Complete weekly inventory and prepare and submit food and supply orders Perform daily tasks including but not limited to chicken counts, Figure 8, Position assignments, position task completions, Open workflow, Cash draw deposits, and Closing workflow.
