Category Production Job Location Houston, TX, US Position Type Full-Time/Regular Job Description Monday-Friday 8am-5pm General Description Assemble MCC sections, combination starters, e-stops, disconnects, etc. Add/remove start/stops, relays, coils and contactors Ability to identify panel components physically and from the schematic and BOM Layout panel designs per drawings using a measuring tape, squares and T- squares Drill + Tap holes as necessary Use of punches and/or a jigsaw for panel devices Wire terminals, PLCs, and other devices in accordance with drawings Prepare panels for testing and shipping May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. Working in a UL/508 shop Necessary Knowledge Skills And Abilities Able to read standard electrical symbols and schematics. Able to wire AC (120-480V) and DC (24-50V) circuits. Understanding of electrical components, operation, and troubleshooting abilities. Above average computer skills. Able to do basic mechanical repairs, including bearings, pneumatics, minor hydraulics. Preferred, not required, UNIX configuration, shell scripting. Preferred, not required, Python or other related programming language. Education And Experience Post-secondary education or training in Electronics, PLC, robotics, and or mechatronics. 1-3 years’ experience in similar trade. UL/508 shop experience
