Job Title: Manhattan WMS Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Position Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Manhattan WMS Developer with deep expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and strong exposure to retail and supply chain environments . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Manhattan Active / WMOS / SCALE implementations, customizations, and integrations. This role requires a top-tier candidate who has worked with large-scale enterprise environments, preferably with organizations or similar retail/supply chain firms. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement solutions using Manhattan WMS (Active / WMOS / SCALE) Customize and configure WMS modules based on business requirements Develop and support WPS (Warehouse Processing Systems) workflows Work on integrations with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, TMS, OMS) Write and optimize SQL / PL-SQL queries Develop APIs and services using Java / Microservices architecture Troubleshoot production issues and provide quick resolutions Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and offshore teams Participate in full SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Manhattan WMS Strong hands-on experience with: Manhattan Active WMS / WMOS / SCALE WMS configuration & customization Warehouse operations (inventory, picking, packing, shipping) Strong expertise in: SQL / PL-SQL Java / APIs / Microservices Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware) Deep understanding of supply chain and retail domain Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with: Walmart / Amazon / Target / Flipkart Experience in large-scale WMS implementations or rollouts Exposure to automation, robotics, or warehouse optimization systems Strong communication and client-facing experience What We Are Looking For (Critical) Hands-on developer (not just functional) Proven experience in complex WMS environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Immediate impact candidate (no ramp-up time) Duration & Engagement Long-term contract (6–12+ months, extendable) High visibility project with enterprise client
