Women’s Operational Resident Assistant (student)

Summary: The operational resident assistant would be responsible for cleaning general areas of the residence hall. She would also serve as a hostess for the lobby desk. Bob Jones University students only PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean, dust, and wipe down surfaces in residence hall common areas Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors and stairs Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies Remain at the desk during scheduled shift Escort maintenance men when necessary Call in needed repairs Greet and assist visitors REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be enrolled as a student at BJU Ability to interact well with people Ability to take initiative Has evidence leadership and organization in the residence hall
