This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of Workday solutions and integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic technology vision. This role combines technical leadership with team management, driving innovation, and operational excellence across Workday platforms.  Enterprise Application Development Experience 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development  Workday Expertise 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience Direct support of core Workday modules including: HCM Payroll Time Tracking Absence Benefits Security Reporting  Workday Integrations Proven experience building end-to-end Workday integrations Hands-on expertise with: Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors Exposure to: Workday Extend Orchestration Workday Prism Analytics  Leadership & Team Management 3+ years of experience managing and leading teams Experience with direct reports  Stakeholder Communication Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and roadmaps to non‑technical stakeholders Strong collaboration skills across business and technical teams  Program & Initiative Leadership Experience leading cross‑functional Workday initiatives Ability to drive solutions from design through deployment  Prioritization & Escalation Management Strong skills in handling competing priorities Effective escalation management with business partners. Job description: This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of Workday solutions and integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic technology vision. This role combines technical leadership with team management, driving innovation, and operational excellence across Workday platforms. Responsibilities Develops, coaches, and leads Workday Engineering professionals for sustained excellence in individual and team performance. Staffs teams effectively and maintains high performing team members through effective interviewing and selection, establishment of individual and team goals and objectives, performance evaluation and development, formal and informal coaching and counseling, and mentoring developers as they grow within the organization. Promotes a positive culture of personal growth, identifies training needs, and designs employee development plans and career paths. Understands and communicates the organization’s vision and connects it to team members’ contributions. Guides and defines Workday engineering strategy, architecture, and development standards. Champions Workday architecture patterns, scalability, security, and performance best practices. Leads and mentors Workday engineers and architects, fostering technical growth and collaboration. Collaborates with product owners, business, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Workday solutions. Ensures compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements. Partners with enterprise leaders to align Workday initiatives with organizational goals. Participates in roadmap planning and governance processes for Workday systems. Evaluates emerging Workday features and technologies for adoption. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Ten+ years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least four years in Workday engineering or architecture is required. Proven leadership experience managing technical teams is required•. Experience in Workday HCM/Finance configuration, integration, and security is required.
