Workday HCM Administrator (Contract) | Remote | 9 Months Prodigy is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Administrator for a 9-month contract to ensure operational continuity across key People Team functions. This is a technical, hands-on role for a practitioner who is comfortable across multiple modules, balancing daily administration with integrations, reporting, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Core Workday HCM Administration Manage and triage Workday inbox items across all functional areas Maintain data integrity through audits and proactive cleanup Troubleshoot system issues and escalate when needed Identify and recommend process improvements Maintain and enhance documentation, SOPs, and job aids Integrations Build, maintain, and optimize integrations using Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Studio Work with Java, XML, and JSON to design and maintain scalable integrations Perform API testing and troubleshooting using tools like Postman Support setup and testing of new integrations Document integration processes and workflows Reporting & Data Support Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards supporting HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and LOA Leverage SQL within Prism Analytics to build and optimize data models Support data validation, audits, and reconciliation Fulfill compliance and audit-related data requests Implement advanced reporting solutions using Power BI and custom data pipelines Recruiting Configure and support Workday Recruiting workflows Support requisitions, approvals, postings, and applicant tracking Troubleshoot recruitment-related system issues Maintain data integrity across the recruiting process Absence & Leave of Absence Manage and maintain LOA processes within Workday Troubleshoot Absence-related issues Support configuration and testing of new time-off plans Maintain documentation and job aids Qualifications 3+ years of Workday HCM administration experience Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs Proficiency with Java, XML, JSON, and SQL Experience with Prism Analytics and Power BI Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting
