Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Workday Integration Consultant Lead with 10+ years of experience and deep expertise in PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface) and Time Tracking integrations to join our HCM practice. You will own the integration workstream end-to-end, drive client engagement at the executive level, and serve as a technical authority across complex, large-scale Workday implementations. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design and delivery of PECI, PICOF, and Time Tracking integrations between Workday and third-party payroll and workforce management vendors Architect enterprise-grade integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and REST/SOAP APIs Own the integration workstream as the senior technical lead across full lifecycle Workday HCM implementations Translate complex payroll, time, and labor requirements into scalable, maintainable integration designs Lead client-facing discovery workshops, design sessions, and executive status reviews Drive SIT, UAT, and payroll parallel testing cycles through to production cutover Troubleshoot PECI file generation issues, time data feed defects, and post-go-live production incidents Partner with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking functional leads to ensure configuration and integration alignment Mentor and develop a team of junior and mid-level integration developers Contribute to SOW scoping, staffing plans, and practice development initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of Workday integration experience, including multiple full lifecycle implementations 5+ years of hands-on PECI/PICOF integration development and delivery 3+ years of experience with Workday Time Tracking integrations , including time clock vendors (Kronos/UKG, ADP Time, Replicon, or similar) Expert-level proficiency in XSLT, XML, and Workday Studio Deep understanding of the Workday HCM data model — Workers, Positions, Compensation, Payroll, and Time & Labor Proven experience with payroll vendor connectors (ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, NGA, or similar) Strong knowledge of payroll cycles, effective dating, retroactive pay, and time entry processing rules Active Workday Integration or HCM Certification strongly preferred Strong executive presence with the ability to lead workshops, manage escalations, and present to C-suite stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating biometric/badge time clocks and scheduling platforms via Workday Background delivering integrations across Benefits, Absence, and Recruiting modules Familiarity with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or Orchestrate Experience in a Big 4, boutique HCM, or Workday Partner consulting firm Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, government, or financial services Prior experience in a Practice Lead or Solution Architect capacity Pay: $80.00 - $82.00 per hour Application Question(s) Have you implemented end-to-end PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface) integrations?
