Workers Compensation and Pre-litigation Attorney

National, award winning plaintiff litigation firm with a proven record of success representing tens of thousands of clients in personal injury litigation, civil litigation, and mass torts including product liability, dangerous drugs and defective medical products is to add a recently licensed attorney to help with their Workers Compensation docket and the personal injury pre-lit docket. The Workers Compensation/Pre-litigation Attorney position will include all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and some personal injury claims. This position is onsite at the firms Houston, TX office location and is a perfect opportunity for an attorney starting out and looking to learn with great mentors and a supportive team. Qualifications Candidates must be licensed in Texas and in good standing; 1+ years of experience; Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required Must be Fast learner Must have good writing skills Must have case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Must have superior organizational skills with great follow through Must have solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately Must be able to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated Must have a team first attitude Any experience with workers’ compensation helpful but not necessary Benefits: Paid time off Paid holidays Health insurance benefits (medical, dental and vision) 401K with employer match Market compensation with discretionary bonus plan Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
