Workforce Recruiter Location: The Ring of Hope New Vision Workforce Program-Greater Grand Crossing Schedule: Part Time 4 days a week, 5 hours each day Reports to: Workforce Director Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour Overview The Workforce Recruiter is responsible for building, managing, and expanding relationships with employers to create meaningful placement opportunities for participants in Ring of Hope’s New Vision Workforce Development Program. This role focuses exclusively on employer engagement and job opportunity development, ensuring participants have direct access to quality employment opportunities that lead to long-term economic stability. The Workforce Recruiter serves as the primary liaison between Ring of Hope and the employer community, developing a strong employer network that aligns workforce talent with employer needs. Key Responsibilities Employer Engagement & Relationship Building Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with local employers, businesses, and industry partners Conduct outreach to new employers to expand Ring of Hope’s employer network Build long-term partnerships that support consistent placement opportunities for program participants Serve as the main point of contact for employer partners Employment Network & Opportunity Development Develop and maintain a strong employment network that provides ongoing job opportunities aligned with participant skill levels and career goals Work closely with employers to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and workforce demands Secure job openings, internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training opportunities Maintain updated records of available positions and employer contacts Participant Placement Support Match qualified participants with appropriate placement opportunities Coordinate interviews, hiring events, and employer meet-and-greet sessions Communicate employer expectations to workforce participants to support successful placement Track job placements, retention, and employer satisfaction Employer Services & Workforce Alignment Promote Ring of Hope workforce services to employers, including candidate referrals and job readiness support Collaborate with workforce staff to ensure participants are prepared to meet employer expectations Gather employer feedback to improve training and program outcomes Support the use of workforce tools (such as assessments or screening tools) to ensure strong job fit Data Tracking & Reporting Maintain accurate documentation of employer contacts, outreach efforts, and placement opportunities Track key performance metrics including employer partnerships, placements, and retention outcomes Provide regular reports on employer engagement and employment network growth Qualifications Experience in workforce development, recruiting, business development, or employer relations Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships Excellent communication, outreach, and networking skills Ability to work independently and meet outreach and placement goals Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and communication tools If you’re passionate about helping us build resources to support at-risk youth and families, and committed to making a positive community impact, we encourage you to apply to .
