Job Description
Title: Project/Business Planning Operations Specialist 100% Remote Must be able to work EST Times 9/10 EST- 5/6 PM EST hours. Duration: 4+ Months Contract – Extension Possible Interview: 2 rounds of interviews Summary / Profile We are seeking a highly experienced, Workfront-focused Business Planning Operations Specialist to partner with senior leadership in building and optimizing planning infrastructure, governance, and resource management. This is a strategic, consultative role—not a traditional project manager or administrator—requiring deep expertise in Adobe Workfront and the ability to structure data to drive business decisions.You will work within a small, fast-paced team supporting a Fortune 100 financial services organization. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, operates with high ownership, and can balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking to create scalable operational systems. Responsibilities Workfront Governance & Optimization Own the structure, governance, and optimization of Adobe Workfront as the primary planning tool Manage intake and organization of business plans, OKRs, programs, and project data Develop scalable frameworks including tagging, templates, naming conventions, and folder structures Advise leadership on best practices for leveraging Workfront for enterprise planning and reporting Business Planning & OKR Tracking Build and maintain dashboards for business plan health, OKR progress, and resource allocation Translate strategic plans into actionable projects, tasks, and milestones within Workfront Support development of resource capacity planning methodologies Process Improvement & AI Integration Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline operations Develop AI-powered solutions (e.g., reporting automation, data summarization, forecasting) using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot Partner with leadership to embed AI into planning workflows for scalability and efficiency Document processes, playbooks, and best practices to standardize operations Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in business planning operations, PMO operations, or project/portfolio management Strong hands-on expertise with Adobe Workfront Experience translating strategic plans into structured project frameworks Proven ability to build executive-level dashboards and reporting tools Experience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) for business use cases Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services, insurance, or large enterprise environments
