Working Superintendent (Residential Construction) Company:Footprint Home Experts Location:Colorado Springs, CO Job Type:Full-time, In-person About the Role Footprint Home Experts is a fast-growing residential remodeling company dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional client experiences.We are seeking a seasoned Working Superintendent to lead our renovation projects from initial handoff to final walkthrough.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of high-level project management and daily on-site execution.We are looking for a professional who not only manages subcontractors but is willing and able to pick up tools to keep a project moving.You should bring a robust network of trusted trades and the organizational discipline to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities Field Execution (Working Lead):Serve as a bags-on leader.Perform and oversee general carpentry, framing, and high-end trim work to ensure projects meet our exacting standards.Project Lifecycle Management:Take full ownership of residential remodels, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and executed to the highest standards.Financial Stewardship:Prepare and review bids, manage vendor pricing, and handle change orders to maintain target profit margins.Subcontractor Leadership:Leverage and grow your existing network of trades to ensure sites are consistently staffed with the best crews in Colorado Springs.Quality & Compliance:Conduct rigorous daily inspections to ensure all work meets local building codes, safety standards, and our premium quality benchmarks.Client Communication:Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing professional updates and maintaining high standards of service.Qualifications Technical Mastery:Extensive experience in General Carpentry, Framing, and Trim.You must have the skills to execute finish-grade work and structural framing personally when required.Experience:3years as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Carpenter in residential remodeling or custom home building.Professional Network:A proven, active roster of subcontractors and vendors in the Colorado Springs area.Plan Proficiency:Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and technical specifications.Tech-Savvy:Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Jobber, or CoConstruct) for scheduling and budget tracking.Logistics:Must have a reliable truck/vehicle, your own standard tools, and a valid driver's license.Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds as required for site prep and carpentry tasks.Why Footprint Home Experts?
