Job description Workshop Helper – Shop – Yard – Local Driver for Pick Up's Looking for: Workshop Helper / Parts Cleaner (LOCAL IN HOUSTON TEXAS ) Will be working in the Manvel TX Office Workshop. Must pass background and Homeland Security E-Verify. Responsibilities: Clean crane parts using solvent tanks and other cleaning equipment Operate power tools such as grinders, die grinders, wire wheels, etc. Assist with prepping and assembling parts and equipment Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, workshop, yard, parking lot, and work pads Perform routine housekeeping duties including sweeping, trash removal, and debris cleanup Rearrange and organize items in the yard/back pad area Assist the Repairs Department as needed Pick up vendor orders using company vehicles when required Follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/managers Requirements: Must wear steel-toe boots Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday Forklift experience preferred Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required for driving company vehicles A Must - be 25 years of age or older to operate company vehicles Additional Information: When not picking up parts or vendor orders, the employee will assist in the workshop with various assignments including cleaning, organizing, yard maintenance, and general shop support.
