Responsibilities Assist with event management tasks, including coordinating guest services and ensuring smooth operations across various venues Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming attendees, answering questions, and guiding guests to their destinations Manage guest services areas, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive experiences for all visitors Handle cash transactions accurately during ticketing or merchandise sales, adhering to financial protocols Support conflict management efforts by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with team members to facilitate food service operations and hospitality functions at designated locations Engage with children and families, creating a friendly environment that promotes enjoyment and safety Utilize public speaking skills to communicate important information clearly to large groups or individual guests Assist in lifeguard duties if applicable, ensuring safety at water-related venues or activities within the event scope Contribute to the overall event atmosphere by participating in themed activities or performances in line with the event’s theater-style entertainment components Experience Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively under pressure Experience working with children or in family-oriented environments is a plus Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems Lifeguard experience or certifications are advantageous if water activities are involved Public speaking abilities that enable clear communication to diverse audiences Background in food service or resort hospitality enhances your ability to support various event functions Join us as a World Cup Volunteer and be part of an extraordinary global event!
