Overview Our non denominational church is a seeking a passionate Worship Leader to inspire and lead our congregation in authentic, heartfelt worship experiences. This vital role involves guiding musical worship, fostering spiritual growth through music, and cultivating an environment where individuals can connect deeply with Jesus. The Worship Leader will serve as a spiritual guide and team motivator, creating an atmosphere of reverence, joy, and community through worship. This part time position offers an exciting opportunity to influence lives positively and nurture a vibrant worship experience. Duties Lead congregation in contemporary Christian worship songs during Sunday service Plan and coordinate worship sets in collaboration with pastors and ministry teams to align with sermon themes and church calendar events Recruit, mentor, and develop volunteer musicians, singers, and technical team members to build a strong worship team Oversee the rehearsal schedule, providing guidance on musical arrangements, vocal techniques, and spiritual focus Cultivate a spirit of mentorship by offering spiritual encouragement and leadership development to team members Communicate effectively with church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to ensure seamless worship experiences Qualifications A genuine passion for serving Jesus and leading others into the presence of the Holy Spirit through worship Proven experience in leading worship or similar musical leadership roles within a faith community or church setting is strongly preferred Ability to instruct worship team members on musical techniques and spiritual significance of worship music Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate teams, manage rehearsals, and foster a collaborative environment Excellent communication skills for clear instruction, spiritual guidance, and fostering community engagement Ability to mentor team members spiritually and musically while maintaining a positive attitude Proficiency in playing musical instruments is required, as it may be necessary to play acoustic sets This role is designed for a genuinely sincere Christian who has a heart for worship and the desire to use their musical gifts and talents to serve the Lord.
