(WE ARE HIRING ONLY TRAVELERS FOR THIS ROLE - ABOVE 50 MILES) #TeamA Job Summary:Title:X-Ray Tech (Weekends) Location:Rochester, NY 14642 Duration:13 weeks (Extending) Shift:Friday - 10:30 AM - Mid; Saturday - 8:00 AM - Mid; Sunday - 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (36 - preferred; would consider 40) Pay rate:Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus Requirements:Must have 2years of recent experience.Level 1 Trauma experience required.Must have OR experience.Experience using c-arm/o-arm in the past 8 months.Active license in NY state.COVID Vaccinated.BLS / CPR Preferred.Duties:Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, ultrasound (sonography), and other specialized imaging modalities with precision and attention to detail Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures to prevent infection Operate advanced imaging equipment safely while following established protocols and safety standards Accurately interpret patient anatomy and physiology to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate diagnostic radiology assessments and emergency evaluations in urgent care or trauma settings Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical data in compliance with medical regulations Assist in patient positioning, preparation, and comfort to ensure optimal imaging results in high-pressure environments like emergency rooms or trauma centers Skills:Extensive knowledge of medical imaging techniques including X-ray, CT scans, PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, ultrasound (sonography), and related modalities Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate diagnostics Experience working in urgent care facilities or Level I/Level II trauma centers with exposure to emergency medicine scenarios Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices during invasive or sterile procedures Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to adapt imaging protocols based on clinical needs Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely while maintaining high standards of quality control Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining procedures to patients effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills directly impact patient outcomes.We value energetic professionals who thrive under pressure and are committed to excellence in diagnostic radiology.Join us to make a difference through innovative imaging solutions!
