X-Ray Technician/Basic Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician or basic machine operator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. This is a Weekend position. hours will be 9:00am-9:00pm Saturday and Sunday Duties Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain relevant medical history and understand the patient's needs. Operate imaging equipment effectively and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality. Assist in the preparation of patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure proper documentation of medical terminology related to imaging results. Stay updated with advancements in diagnostic radiology and participate in continuing education opportunities. Adhere to emergency medicine protocols when necessary, ensuring quick response during critical situations. Qualifications Certification as an X-ray Technician or Basic Machine Operator Strong understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic radiology principles. Experience with aseptic technique is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
