Trusted Health is seeking a skilled and patient-centered X-Ray Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team as part of our modern staffing platform. As an X-Ray Technologist with Trusted Health, you will perform routine and specialized radiographic examinations, including portable and OR imaging, following provider orders and established protocols. You will prepare and position patients, verify patient identity and exam details, and ensure proper use of shielding and radiation safety practices in accordance with ALARA guidelines. You will operate digital radiography equipment, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues while maintaining high image quality standards and minimizing retakes. You will collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team to prioritize imaging requests, support timely diagnosis, and communicate any urgent or unexpected findings to the appropriate provider per facility policy. You will ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record and PACS, including exam details, contrast use (if applicable), and any pertinent patient information. Professionalism, clear communication, and compassion are critical as you support patients who may be anxious, in pain, or have limited mobility. This role requires strict adherence to infection prevention practices, patient identification procedures, and safety policies. You will maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, check supplies and contrast materials, and assist with department workflow such as transporting patients, coordinating schedules, and supporting specialized procedures. You will also participate in ongoing competency assessments, quality improvement initiatives, and required continuing education to stay current with evolving imaging technologies and best practices.
