Requirements All bartenders are required to start as servers before given the position of a bartender. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and foster repeat business. Manage POS systems, such as Toast POS, for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Handle cash transactions accurately while practicing responsible cash handling and cashiering procedures. Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or special nightclub functions seamlessly. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high service standards. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for sales processing. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in the food industry with retail math skills for accurate cash handling and basic math proficiency. Background in hospitality or beverage service roles that involve serving alcohol responsibly in diverse settings including nightclubs or catering events. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Prior experience with brewing or beverage preparation is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
