Company Overview Harvest Free Will Baptist Child Care Ministries, Inc.is a residential children's home located in Duffield, Virginia.Sponsored by the Free Will Baptist churches and licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services, our organization is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.Summary We are seeking a compassionate Youth Development Professional to join our team in Duffield, Virginia.In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the well-being and development of children in our care, aligning with our mission to foster growth and stability.Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to children in the residential home.Assist with daily living activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.Implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.Implement and support behavioral management and conflict resolution efforts.Maintain accurate documentation.Administer medication as required.Promote a nurturing and trauma informed environment that encourages positive development.Qualifications Proven experience working with youth.Strong understanding of behavioral management and crisis intervention.First aid certification and CPR training or ability to obtain such training.Ability to work effectively with children who have behavioral issues and who have been effected by trauma.Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols is preferred but not required.12 hour night shifts with rotating week-ends required.Must be dependable-able to work on scheduled holidays and bad weather.Valid driver's license for transportation duties.Compassionate attitude aligned with our mission to support vulnerable children.Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.See hccm.cc for further details and benefit package.If you are passionate about making a difference in young lives and want to be part of a dedicated team, we invite you to bring your compassion and expertise to Harvest Free Will Baptist Child Care Ministries.Join us in shaping brighter futures today!
