Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic Youth Soccer Club team and inspire young athletes to develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead youth soccer programs, foster a positive sporting environment, and promote healthy physical activity. As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will be responsible for planning engaging practices, coaching games, and ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants. Bring your energy, passion for sports, and dedication to nurturing the next generation of soccer players! Responsibilities Lead and organize youth soccer practices and games, ensuring activities are fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate Teach fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork strategies Monitor participant behavior to promote sportsmanship and positive conduct on and off the field Provide guidance in sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness while fostering a supportive environment Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns Maintain equipment, ensure field safety standards are met, and prepare materials for training sessions Assist in organizing tournaments or special events to enhance participant engagement Experience Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable Background in Lifeguard experience or working with children in active settings is a plus Knowledge of martial arts such as Karate or Judo can be beneficial for discipline training Experience in childcare or teaching children’s sports programs demonstrates strong behavior management skills Familiarity with basketball, cheerleading, climbing activities or health club environments enhances versatility Ability to work with students of diverse ages and skill levels while maintaining a positive attitude Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is valued Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
