Responsibilities:Program Implementation:Implement the i9 Sports cheerleading program tailored to young children, focusing on age-appropriate skills, activities, and routines.Create the i9 Sports Experience at the field or court level.Coaching and Instruction:Provide clear and enthusiastic instruction to children, teaching basic cheerleading moves, chants, and routines in a fun and engaging manner.Event Coordination:Organize and oversee cheerleading performances for local league games.Safety and Well-being:Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and promote the well-being of participants.Maintain a safe and positive environment at all times.Communication:Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about schedules, events, and their child's progress.Team Building:Encourage a sense of teamwork, cooperation, and respect among all participants.Promote a positive and inclusive environment.Duties in other sports required Experience: Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Experience in teaching or coaching sports activities - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.-Experience in Cheerleading is preferred -The Cheer Coordinator is responsible for creating a fun, supportive, and engaging cheerleading program for young children ages 3 to 8.This role involves teaching basic cheerleading skills, coordinating practices and events, and fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork and confidence.The Cheer Coordinator will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.Note:This job description does not contain any contact information such as email or phone number.Job Types:Part-time, Contract, Internship Pay:$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Work Location:In person.
